Program Overview

Missouri Child Care Works implements innovative, community-based programming designed to make quality child care more accessible and affordable for working families across the state. Through collaborative funding models, Missouri Child Care Works creates a sustainable pathway to quality child care by facilitating the sharing of child care costs among multiple stakeholders.

Benefits to Providers

Timely Payment

Providers will receive payments when they are due and will not be responsible for collecting payment.

Payment Stability

100% of a qualified employee’s child care payment will be paid directly by Child Care Works.

Increased Access

The cost-sharing approach will increase access to quality child care for working families.

Support Your Staff

Providers are eligible to participate in Missouri Child Care Works as an employer.

Information

In addition to ensuring timely, stable payments to providers, child care providers can be both an employer and a provider of care within the Missouri Child Care Works program. Contact us if you would like to offer this program to your employees.

Employees of participating employers can choose any eligible participating child care provider(s) that meet their unique needs. Eligible providers include those who are licensed or exempt from licensure and registered in the state child care subsidy program. Employees may use their existing child care provider (if eligible).

Get your profile “Enrollment Ready” by completing these five sections of information on your profile:
